Complaint Review: lakeside motors

Lakeside Motors fail again! My friend, wife and I went in to Lakeside pre-owned & new vehicles dealership to try and fix their original problem of them selling me a car that 'needs nothing' & 'mechanically sound' (1995 bmw 325is) for $4400.

After taking it to a mechanic, I found out that it needed $3500 worth of suspension/anti-lock brakes/battery repair!

I brought my friend with me because I did not trust these guys anymore. Before being able to negotiate repairs, 'Moses' told my friend to leave. Moses was rude, disrespectful, raising his voice and trying to be intimidating. I thought that if these were honest business people, they would not have a problem with having someone else in their office trying to make sure they don't pull another "fast one".

Only dishonest business persons would feel offended having one who watches out for their friends/family watching over their shoulder.

This is only evident as you can see Lakeside Auto Sales gets numerous poor reviews and ratings.

All they do is buy cars from the auto auctions, fix them to a bare minimum of stopping and going, if that, and claim its 'mechanically sound', & 'needs nothing but a new home' & rip you off for top dollar!

I think that they refer to the 'new home'  - as the junk yard!
