Lancaster County District Attorney's Office victim witness office DA's Office drops all charges including assult involving a domestic violence case Is this suprising? lancaster, Pennsylvania
Lancaster County ADA Daniel Dye withdrawls charges against Paul Strube in 2 seperate cases involving 2 seperate victims. Defendant was charged with multipul counts of assult, terroristic threats, harassment for a domestic dispute involving a baseball bat and caused severe injurys to his victims. One of the victims has had 3 Prior PFA's and one currently as a result of years of abuse Defendant continues to violate victims PFA order by sending letters and stalking it was reported to appropriate police department who can not press charges because the district attorney's office instructed them not to prosecute. For those of you who have a PFA the act it is not worth the paper its printed on.
These district attorneys will go after the pettiest things yet when it comes to someone violating a Protective order and people as a whole being protected they have no regaurd for that. The reason dispute took place was because victim was forced to allow defendant visitation and during a custody exchange altercation took place. Victims called the Da's office requesting a response and also to file a complaint about lack of service with in there office only to betold charges were being dropped. I guess if Mr. Strube commits another crime the DA's office won't prosecute him then either unless it happens to be one of them or there family members. Why then I suppose it would be a priority. Please don't vote for craig stedman unless u like a terd in your sand box.
