Lancaster Partners Limited Unfair and deceptive trade practices, forgery Internet
Asked if we wanted to advertise in their Cleveland Police diary. Told them no, however recieved an invoice for 240 for 1/3 of an advertising page ! Even though when their agent was trying to sell this he said "Oh and no little box advertising you get a full page with us". Contacted them, again they claim their agent dealt with this in the correct manner ! So he has forged a signature onto a contract we did not sign and they are demanding 240.

The lady in question did sign the Advertising Contract in two places and she admitted that she had signed this in written correspondence to us, in this report she maintains that the agent forged her signature this is quite clearly untrue. The lady did not say no to the agent, it was not an invoice that she received but a proof form showing her advertisement which she could amend. When the agent called on the business it was agreed that a third page advertisement would be taken and the copy for this was given to the agent at the time, so how can they maintain they said no to the agent.
Because Cleveland Police and the Press Office has not heard of us is irrelevant as we deal with the Cleveland Police Federation and have done for many years and from our investigations through the Cleveland Police Federation there is no record of her contacting the Press Office.
