I purchased a 1997 land rover discovery for $10,000 which is $2000 over market value, and they where asking $13000. when i was test driving the vehicle i noticed the transfer case was not shifting well, and asked for them to look at it. when i returned they said they did, and it just needed to be used more often. i then purcahed the vehicle, and drove it home. when i got it home i wanted to use it of road, and i couldnt get it into 4 low, so the next day i called the dealer and was told nothing is wrong. then i tried again and it still didnt work. so i took it to land rover, and told them its broken, just like i suspected befor i bought it.

They called me the following monday, and I argued with the general manager for over an hour, because he refused to do anything to help. land rover then kept the car in there posetion for a month whle the diagnosed the problem. when i got it back (i did not have the problem fixed, they wanted $2500) i began to drive it more often and a hose blew, so i fixed it, then a week later the radiator went, so i fixed it, then a week later the gear shifter would no longer shift gears, so i fixed it, then a week later, the roof started leaking, so i fixed it, then the off road lights came of the mounts, so i fixed it, then mecanism that reclines the seat broke, and i fixed it to. i am fed up with this vehicle and need help resolving this issue.

You bought an 8 year old truck. You test drove it and it didn't work properly. You still bought it. It's still 8 years old. Things break on 8 year old vehicles, all the time. The average age of a vehicle in a repair shop is 7-8 years. You bought the worst possible truck there is...a Rover. They are great when new, like a Saab. When they start getting real miles on them, they are junk.

You did not buy a lemon. You bought an old truck.
