Complaint Review: Landmark Home Warranty

Submitted for a service call (#1457507) for my air conditioning unit as is was leaking massive amounts of water in the rafters and beams in the garage where the unit is installed. Three days later we heard from no contractor so a cll was re-placed to Landmark. The next day, Friday, we heard from Artic Air. The gentleman "Kevin" stated he can make it out next Thursday 6 days away between 0800-1200. I advised him that a heavy water flo was leaking. He advised me to just put buckets under the leak.

Well, Thursday noon came but "Kevin" from Artic Air never did. Not even a phone call letting me know he is running late. I took the day off from work, lost income and got admonished from my employer and now have a bad mold problem due to the moisture.. A phone call was placed to Landmark Home Warranty to discuss this problem and spoke to a :Mario" who had me on hold back and forth for 30 minutes. He then came back on the line and gave me a lame excuse stating he spoke to the contractor (Artic Air) who said he got delayed on another job. I guess that I am not a very important customer and my day, job and life dosen't matter! I then asked to be transferred to a supervisor or manager, "Mario" then hung up on me.

Needless to say I am in the process of cancelling my contract with Landmark Home Warranty. All of my Real Estate and Mortage Company friends will be informed of this company so that no other person who pays for this service (or lack of) will be scammed again.
