Complaint Review: Landmark Merchants Solution

Landmark Merchants Solution Telemarketing Credit Card Processing Rip Off Palatine Illinois

At 1:59 P.M. today we received a call from 847-221-0575. Our answering machine announces the number. I did not recognize the number and was busy, so I let the machine get it. It was Brian James of Landmark Merchants Solution advising us that he had a note on his desk to call us and that he wasn't sure why. Then he said the owner of the company must have called and requested information.

He said that they are the company that processess Visa and MasterCard and have rats as low as 1.49%. He said to have the owner of the company call him back at 800-882-4892 and that he would save him money. Then he said to make sure and tell the owner that if he couldn't save him money he would pay him $500.00 (It's on the recording).

Our business has never accepted credit cards and if it did, thanks to Rip Off Report, we would know to steer clear of this company. I did a search for the phone number and did not get a name, but it does indicate the number is in Palantine, IL and that Mcimetro Ats, Inc. is the carrier. Thanks again, Rip Off Report!

Perhaps You Are New To Ripoff Report

If so, I suggest you do a search on this particular company and see all of the reports filed. I didn't say I was ripped off. I said I was NOT ripped off thanks to this website. And if you are an employee of this so-called company, feel free to explain to us how it is NOT a ripoff. Any salesman that calls and blatanly lies: had our phone number, we must have called him, doesn't speak well for the company that employs him.

This Ripoff Report has no basis, and the complaintant didn't even get ripped off!

S.N. describes receiving a phone call from Landmark Merchants offering to save his company money. Where's the ripoff in that? If someone called me and had insight on how I could cut expenses in my business, I would be thrilled to talk with them.

S.N. never did business with this company. S.N. never lost money. S.N. doesn't decribe the caller as being rude, pushy, or over-persistent. S.N merely listened to a one-time voicemail message where the caller politely invited S.N. to call him back. Instead, S.N. issued a baseless Ripoff Report! That's bogus!
