Complaint Review: Lane Bryant

I ordered several swimsuits online.  When the store did not call to advise me of their arrival, I called them. An associate confirmed that the package was available for pick-up. I went into the store on 8/26/13 to get the items.

The items in the package were not the right sizes. In addition, there were some articles that I had not ordered. I gave the items to the on duty store manager, as they are supposed to return the shipment free of charge. The store manager called the internet customer service department and confirmed how to do this.

It is almost two months later, and the shipping department is claiming that they have not received my items. When I go into the store, the store manager (Desiree) gives me tracking and confirmation numbers, but none of these match anything in Lane Bryant's system. I asked them if they could pull the call where the manager got the return shipment label code, but they have done nothing.

At this point it seems that either the store manager is being dishonest or the company is. I just don't want to be forced to pay for things that I didn't order and never received.
