If you are thinking about renting a house that is posted in twin falls, Haiku/Huelo area, or an offer for any eco tour business contact me first. This posting would ask you to pay 6 month in advance and/or offer a part of an eco tour company to invest in. The posting will also be a house around 900 square feet and they offer to furnish the place especially if you are straight from the mainland. This is a scam and they have been doing this for years.
We lost over $12,000 and wish someone would have warned us about her. Now we will do everything within our power to make sure that this doesn't happen to anyone else!

Lani Bernard (aka Lani Stark, Lani Starr, Lani Star) is a scam artist who will make you promises of big things happening but in the end will just take your money! You will never see your security deposit and has done this to many people in the past (since 2008). Stay far far away from this lady and don't fall for her God shtick! Do not rent from her or do any kind of business with her. She just needs her mortgage paid and is a broke and desperate! We went without plumbing for over 30 days which she refused to fix it and we had a to rent a port-a-potty, her catchment system and water filtration system doesn't work and water comes out brown and she left us without electricity for ten days and told us to get a generator on our dime! Black mold grows everywhere and to keep up with it you have to wipe the cabinets and walls daily. Address is #12 Ulalena Loop in Haiku. She also is seen by the courts as a Vexatious Litigant! Lani Star is a scam artist who lives on Maui.
She tells everyone she teaches the methods of famed vocal coach Seth Riggs.
He sent her a cease and desist letter telling her to stop when he learned she was blowing up the pages of his book and pretending that she teaches for him.
It's a lie. If you don't believe me, email Seth Riggs directly through his website and he will tell you. Just google him and his website and contact information will appear.
Secondly, she says she has taught and prestigious universities such as Harvard, Yale, and other high profile schools.
This, too, is an absolute lie.
She was fired as a producer on Maui for making ridiculous demands, trying to get advertising to promote her vocal instruction classes rather than the shows she was hired to promote.
BE WARNED. This woman charges $100 an hour and if your a serious singer, being taught by someone who doesn't know what they are doing can seriously damage your vocals.
