Complaint Review: Lanigan and Lanigan

I hired Rich Marquez years ago to modify a loan on my personal home. Immedialty they want the money up front, but i negotiated monthly payments. This went on for a very long time. Had to send the same info over and over again. He finallly got a decent modifiaction that I could have done myself. He talked me into doing the same for my personal home. I have paid for the service but nothing has ever been completed. This has been years now. I have paid the firm to work a deal modifying my commercial buildings. We got this done with a principle balance reduction, but found out that all that they had promised me I would get with this transaction was not there. I had a piece of property that was valued at $150k that was not supposed to be transferd at the closing, but did anyway. So now not only did I loose the property under the Lanigan and Lanigan professional watch, but all of the cost I encurred for the $50k storm pond and the $18k loading dock was lost on the property as well.

I have paid them for many more other properties before I had realized they were never going to deliver. I even paid them to handle my son's condo in Wilmington, NC and nothing was done their as well. I mean I have spent thousands with these guys. All I got was some professsional lip service from Rich Marquez.

Be careful on the phone because he will make you feel like he is going to be your savior. He tried not to respond by emails hardly ever since what he was most likly telling me on the phone ws BS!!

I sent complaints to the Lanigans, but no response.

I plan to file a law suite very soon as well !!

I wish I had read all of the complaints that are on line and I wouldn't have been so stupid to hire these guys.
