LaptopBatteryOne Bait & Switch on the Internet
I ordered a laptop battery 2-13-12 and it was shipped on that date and I received it on 2-16-12. I ordered an 8 cell 4800 mAh 14.8V battery and the one I received was a ? cell 4400 mAh 14.8V battery. The invoice that came with the battery even shows that it should have been as ordered.
I called and talked with one of their so call customer service reps and tried to explain that the battery I received will work in my laptop but it does not have the lasting power of the one I ordered. She told me in a very hostile tone that there is no difference.
She said she would check and have her supervisor call me back to see if the matter could be resolved.
I never received a call from anyone after that. There would be a price difference of about $10.00 less for the battery I received vs the one I ordered. This is not a good company to do business with as they bait and switch the advertised item with a cheaper item when they ship.

Received a call from Trina at Laptop Battery One. She admitted that they had shipped me the wrong battery and offered to send me an RMA.This is so I can return it to them at no cost. She also advised that she would send me the correct battery today.
Good follow up by Trina and it's nice to know that someone takes their business seriously.
Sometimes the customer does know what they are talking about.
