I want to see if I could receive any help with an accident that happen to me with a company that is located in UK. The Company name is LAPTOPS DIRECT ENTERPRISE LIMITED and their website is http://www.notebookdirect.net.


I bought a laptop from them a month ago and had to pay with western union which in total I had to spend $733 dollars. I never receive the laptop and when I try to talk to them inquiring as to why i haven't received a tracking number or my laptop yet. I was then informed that CUSTOMS was requiring a fee of $250 USD to ship to my address. I stated that is unacceptable and told them to cancel my order and wanted a full refund. I was denied for a refund and when asked for a tracking number, since it was already shipped and on hold at CUSTOMS, I was then informed that the business owner was in South Africa and would not release the tracking number to the "sales rep". I demanded to speak to the owner and to know his name, so the the customer service gave me the owners name and his cell phone number. When I spoke to the owner by phone I asked for a refund but no refund was offered, only either purchase another laptop for $420 USD or pay the $250 CUSTOMS fee. Then I bought another laptop for $499 dollars with them trough paypal, but ended up telling me the same thing and that I needed to pay $250 for customs fee. I reported this to paypal and I'm getting my $499 dollars back, but not my $733 since I paid trough western union. The only way to get my money back is if the police contacts western union, but I don't know how to do so. Please I really need all the help I can get to recover the money of other victims as well as my; as well to bring justice to this company and the individuals who are involved.
