This experiance occured on Friday 28 December 2002. I was looking for a new or low milage Honda Accord with my wife and daughter present. The first dealership we looked at was Larry H. Miller Honda. I explained to the salesman what I was interested in and he began to show me what was available. I asked about interest rate and if they were flexable on the sticker price.

He claimed that that information wasn't available to him (I seriously question that), but only to his sales manager. I asked him to look into it, and he brought us insde and produced a sales manager who then proceeded to insult me for asking about price and interest rate, saying that I should be more interested in the car than the price. I asked him why he was insulting me, but this brought no end to it. I told him I would look elsewhere for a car and he responded with "good, don't come back". Which I didn't. A few hours later I was able to purchase a new Honda Accord at Willey Honda in Bountiful with absolutely no hassle or insults. They were up front about price and interest rate. They were also patient with the way I wanted to proceed on the purchase. I have to wonder how many people are actually buying cars from Larry H. Miller groups under these kind of sale tactics. His motto is "You Know This Guy" and I would have to say that I am starting too!
