My husband bought a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 from this dealer less than a year ago. Not even two months after we got the truck, it started having problems. Larry Miller decides to be nice ( after we told them we would get a lawyer) and they fix the issue, however we still had to buy the parts they only paid for their mechanics labor.
We get free oil changes and extensive checks for the truck. My husband takes the truck in, gets an oil change and system check, we are told the truck needs REAR brakes, but is fine otherwise. So we get the rear brakes replaced (which our mechanic says are fine). Less than a week goes by, we go on a trip, and the front end goes out. Leaving my husband, his son, and myself stranded in the middle of absolutely no where. Yet Larry Miller mechanics say "Oh well".
When this truck was purchased we were promised that in one year we would be able to trade it in and get the truck we actually wanted. Now they are saying that isn't how they work.
What kind of person can run a business this way? How do they keep getting customers? People need to be informed that this company has no conscience, and does not care about is customers.

You bought a 6 year old vehicle from a used car dealership? Now you are upset that it is showing signs of use? I find this hard to believe. Why would a used car exhibit signs of use in the form of worn out parts and components? Caveat emptor. I am assuming you know the meaning so I won't explain it. I am wondering if you did your homework on this vehicle before you decided to hand out the down payment and sign the line. Did it go to a neutral technician for inspection with oil samples? Or did you go to the lot, look around and then end up buying it in 1 trip to the dealer? I would be willing to bet that the vehicle had a sticker in the window that had a 'X' through a box that read 'as is; no warranty'. If it did, then it doesn't matter what the salesperson says, it only matters what is in small writing on the contract when they put it in front of you. I suggest you read those small letters that make up expensive words the next time you go car shoping and think about leaving the lot with a car.
You ask how can a person run a business this way? I'd say if they can keep people like you coming in and making impulse buys, they should do pretty well.
Cheers
