Complaint Review:
Larry Miller Toyota
I recently bought a used automobile at Larry Miller Toyota. They offered me a trade-in on my motorcycle on Oct. 26th. I agreed to the deal and they took the trade-in. They gave me approx. $4500.00 for the bike. I signed all the contracts and left.
On October 5th, they called and left a message stating they had "good news about my financing". So, I was already in the area and stopped in. I also had to stop in because I was having them replace a tire on it. While their shop was replacing my tire, I was in the finance office. Then it turned ugly.
They said their "wholesaler" didn't offer them what the gave me in trade and said I would have to take the bike back. They said I could either give them the truck back and take the bike, or take both. I then told them that we already signed all documents and the deal was final. However, they had my keys to the truck, and held them. I
then asked where in the contract it said they could do this if they couldn't get the sals from the wholesaler. They said, "I'm sure it's in there somewhere." I then asked for the trade-in contract, and it didn't say anywhere in there they could do this.
I told them that it was there problem then. At that moment, another finance guy walked in and started yelling. I told him to stop yelling at me or leave. Then they told me that they stopped payment on the check to my bank for the bike.
However, my bank records indicated it was already paid off. Finally they pretty much wore me out, so they made me sign a new contract for purchasing the truck without trade-in, and left with both. I never signed any contract cancellation form. They told me I COULD NOT leave with the truck until I did this.
I have both contracts that I signed still. Also, my title is signed over to their name for the bike still, and my bank records are still showing the bike as paid-off.
They basically forced me to sign new contract (under duress). They tore up the 1st original, luckily, i kept all the copies.
I am still pursuing this matter, and may pursue it legally.

Nick the only way to clean up dirty car dealers is to expose their deception. Your local newspaper will do a fat ZERO on helping consumers when it comes to dirty car dealer because thats where they get most of all of their big advertising money from.
I am sure that your local newspaper would love to shut this web site up when it comes to exposing dirty car dealers and their deceptive games that most all play on consumers.
Trust me Nick I The Great Thorn will do this faxing TODAY!
