Las Vegas Attorney Tom Pitaro - A Criminal’s Best Friend and a Victim’s Worst Nightmare Las Vegas Nevada

Las Vegas attorney Tom Pitaro knows the law, and is well-known in Las Vegas legal circles, but his tactics are always the same: delay, delay, delay. And you know the saying: Justice delayed is justice denied. These continuous delaying tactics have a major impact on the victims’ lives and mental well-being.

Consider the case of the State of Nevada v. Robert Jackson, Case No. C274436. The state is bringing a case against Jackson, who has been accused of shooting four people on the Strip on Aug. 19, 2007. It was an apparent gang fight, except only bystanders were hit with bullets. Again, that was 2007. It’s now 2013. Jackson avoided capture for four years, but even factoring that in, he still hasn’t come to trial. It’s been two years. And Tom Pitaro has engineered almost every delay, using every legal stalling tactic - in short, every trick in the book - to keep his client out of the courtroom to face the charges. You name it - calendar oversights, Jackson present in court without representation (by Pitaro), bail battles ... This trial has been continued six times from July 2011 to now. Five of these continuances have been at the hands of Pitaro. And now the new trial date has been set for June 16, 2014. This crime occurred in 2007 and the defendant has yet to be tried.

Yeah, thanks for all that, Tom Pitaro.

How can guy like Jackson – who has a supposed startup photo/video business and can’t meet with clients because of his house-arrest restrictions, who has to take care of his elderly incontinent grandparents, and who has fathered another child since returning to Las Vegas – how on earth can he afford representation from the likes of Tom Pitaro, who is known to command substantial legal fees? After all, he was one of the attorneys who was on O.J. Simpson’s defense team. That’s a question the prosecutors should ask.

Is Tom Pitaro still smart enough to pull the wool over Clark County D.A. Steven Wolfson’s eyes?

Beware of Attorney Tom Pitaro - He'll Plead You Then Bleed You!

As the headline says, beware of this Las Vegas attorney, Tom Pitaro. He's not satisfied with doing an honest days work apparently. It looks like he likes to get his hooks in you and then bleed you dry.

This guy's a real P&B ... and that's not to be confused with the sandwich spread known as peanut butter. In this case, P&B means "pleader" and "bleeder." Don't be fooled by him. In my opinion, Pitaro likes to plead down a case and then bleed you dry in fees. This guy's track record supports that, as does my dealings with him. But all you need to do is check out a cae against a woman who tried to burn down her pet store with animals locked in their cages; but she got caught. Just Google "Las Vegas pet store owner Gloria Lee and you should find it pretty quickly.

Guess who's the atlorney on that case? Tom Pitaro. And his ineffective handling of that case is abundantly clear to anyone paying attention. Let's just say his client is dangling, swinging in the wind.

Be ready with lots of cash on hand with this guy. He'll suck you dry for every penny you've got and then will move away, ready to pounce on his next victim(s).

First it sounds like this person IS doing their job. YOU have no idea WHY a continuance was issued. Instead of being a "Armchair" lawyer perhaps your energy would be better spent finding these issues out. Secondly....Im sure with all your legal knowledge YOU know what Pro bono means riiiiiight?? Amazing that you have the skill set to type and use the web but not enough common sense to fight your way out of a wet paper bag!!! Even if its NOT pro bono then odds are that a family member is paying for his defense. Lastly, thank god IM not in YOUR shoes. Theres two groups you don't go slandering and defaming online. Doctors and Lawyers. Doctors have the money to ride a defamation case to the end. Lawyers however don't need the money. THEY have access to everything they need to easily sue you for defamation and slander. But Im sure YOU thought of all of this while you were making your report. FAKE as it is. This lawyer has kept a criminal out of jail for SEVEN YEARS!!!!! Sounds like a lawyer you want on your side. While YOU may not agree with WHAT the lawyer is doing, everything this person has done IS LEGAL!!!! All you have done is potentially cause YOURSELF an added lawsuit, and have shown this lawyer to be COMPETENT!!!! I guess we will see exactly HOW competent this lawyer is by how your future lawsuit goes. You have the freedom of speech but you must pay for that right. YOUR rights DO NOT override another citizens rights. YOU will be held accountable if this lawyer descides to go after you.
