Complaint Review: Las Vegas Nevada Actionable Award Program

I received a letter from LVAAP saying that I had won 3,341,006 uncollected U.S. Dollars and in order to get it they asked me to respond by sending 20.00 by cash, check, or money order for a report-release fee, swear that I haven't received any money, and to sign and send in the form (A Privileged Privacy Rights Contract Document 5023604223).

I looked it over and saw there was absolutely no contact information (phone number, web address)on this piece of paper and figured it might be a scam, so I decided to check it out to see if this was a legitimate business; and I came to find out that it wasn't. Fortunately, I didn't send them any money before it was too late. How they got my address? I don't really know as I didn't enter any kind of sweepstakes or contests affilliated with them. I'm glad I checked it out first.
