About 1 week ago, I received an email from this Doctor office advertised for a lasik at $220 per eye (https://www.lasikvisioninstitute.com/lasik-eye-surgery/dallas-surgeon-center/). It is turn out to be a false advertisement.  I then registered for a consultation.  About 3 days later I got a call from one of the secretary confirming my appointment, but she also saying that since my age is over 40 the procedure would be $2000-$3000 and is depends on how much my eyes need to be corrected.

I told the secretary to cancel my appointment.  However, she didn’t cancel.  I received another text the day before the appointment date (appointment is on Tuesday 03/03/2020 at 08:30).  I then called back trying to cancel my appointment, but this secretary insisted me to come in for the consultation.  When I arrived for my appointment on Tuesday morning 03/03/2020 at 08:30 one of the gentlemen that give me a consultation saying that my eyes are not suitable for $220.00 per eye, perhaps it is started at $2000.00 per eye.  He said that since my both eyes prescription started at -2.00.  They only value for corrected at -1.00 with than -0.50 diopter of astigmatism.  Now, my question is why people need their eyes corrective at -1.00 with than -0.50 diopter of astigmatism.

With this fault advertised I have to take few hours off from work and almost 1 hour drive through a busy Dallas morning traffic to get there.  With majority of people getting there leave since the small fault advertisement listed way at the bottom at the website.
