Complaint Review: Lasko Products Michael Ross Pate Bryan Christopher Moon John Bonn Weeden

Lasko Products Michael Ross Pate Bryan Christopher Moon John Bonn Weeden Michael Ross Pate Bryan Christopher Moon John Bonn Weeden Lasko Products, Inc. My Lasko heater broke recently and it is still under warranty. However, I have not been able to reach anyone at Lasko regarding my product warranty. In fact, I left the relevant departments my phone number 3 different times and never got a return phone call. Ultimately, Lasko is not honoring their limited 3 year warranty on their products by failing to be reachable or responsive. West Chester Pennsylvania

I feel you are purposfully ignoring the LIMITED part of your warrenty. If it is a LIMITED warrenty, then that means that your break down isnt going to be covered. A item breaking down DUE TO REGULAR USE is NEVER covered under a limited warrenty. Im sure if you read the terms and conditions of that warrenty you would see it is a extended MANUFACTURERS WARRENTY. WHICH is based on the quality of the build. NOT normal wear and tear. Unless you have an extended warrenty WITH Accidental Damages, you probably wont get any help from them.

Also let me school you on the law.. You claim that they are in breach of the warrenty because YOU cannot contact them. But what methods have you used to attempt contact? Phone and email more then likely. If you have ONLY used those two forms of communication then THEY are not in breach of the warrenty, YOU are just unable to reach them through those mediums. Until you have exhausted EVERY form of communication available to reach them, you cannot ASSUME that they are in breach.

But in your own post you state that you were able to leave messages. So that probably means that they WONT call you back because your warrenty doesnt cover what YOU want it to. Odds are that the warrenty doesnt cover wear and tear and they just dont want to be the ones to tell this to you.

Warrenties only cover so much. Each warrenty has in its paperwork exactly what is covered BY that warrenty. If you ASSUME that your issue is covered, then you ASSUME at your own risk. If I were you, I would FIND that warrenty paperwork before you go any further. This way when you DO contact them, you will be armed with the same information they have. This will also give you a chance to go over that information so you can be sure that YOUR issue is covered.
