Last Chance Cash Advance/ID Theft Protection RIP OFF Internet
I signed up for a payday loan online. And even though it WAS NOT through Last Chance Cash Advance they debited my account for $31.98 caused my account to be overdrawn. When I called the number that my bank had for the debit, it turned out to be for ID theft protection of all things. They informed me that because I had applied for an online payday loan that, gave them the right to debit my account. I informed them that I hadn't filled out one for their website and they told me that it was automatic when you filled out one application online. They refused to credit the money back to my account and informed me that I should file a police report. They said their charge was non-refundable.
When you visit the website that is listed on the bank charge, www.idprosup.com, it says off the bat, if you have a charge on your bank account you do not recognize it is for ID theft protection.
