Complaint Review: Latina Style Magazine

This magazine is notorious for paying its freelance writers extremely late. Several months, up to a year, it could take forever before you ever receive payment. Even after numerous follow ups via email and over the phone, you won't see money for months.

Whenever you call regarding payment, the editor is conveniently "out of the office." You're told your payment and copies of the magazine are on their way, but you never get them. You're always told some cockamamie story and given some b.s. excuse, but it doesn't matter to the freelancer who just wants to get paid.

Don't bother contributing for this magazine unless you're okay with making it a donation.
