This is the classical scam artists. I was a victim. Mr. Ventura from Latino Heating and Air. He charged me 4 times more than any other company would have for a problem that did not exist. The repair lasted 4 hours and it broke again. I found out that I am not the only victim of Latino Heating and Air. Read this consumer article where Mr. Ventura was put on jail for defrauding consumers at the state of New York.

April 23, 2010 Department of Consumer Protection and Windsor Police Nab Would-Be Chimney Scam ArtistHARTFORD, April 23 This is an example of how informed citizens can protect themselves and help us keep unlawful contractors from profiting in Connecticut, Department of Consumer Protection Commissioner Jerry Farrell, Jr. said in announcing that his office and officers from the Windsor police department completed a joint investigation leading to the arrest of an alleged chimney scam artist. On Tuesday, a Department of Consumer Protection information worker took a call from a Windsor resident, asking for a complaint history on Accurate Chimney, a company that was due to come to his house around 10 a.m. to perform an inspection and cleaning.  Acting on information the agency had gathered in recent months, two Department special investigators were on hand at the residents house when Accurate Chimney workers arrived for their appointment that morning. Without conducting any inspection at all, one of the workers informed the 82-year-old resident that he needed a new chimney liner at a cost of $2,600. He subsequently made that offer in writing.  That is when the special investigators, in cooperation with Windsor police officers, placed the man under arrest for offering to perform home improvement work without a Connecticut home improvement salespersons registration. Juan Jose Ventura of Dallas, Georgia was held by Windsor Police on a $10,000 bond. We believe that teams from this company have been out offering services throughout greater Hartford, and we ask that consumers be extremely careful, Farrell said. Beware when anyone offers you a super low price to come and clean and inspect your chimney; they may just want to get their foot in the door, because they're really looking to do some costly repairs. If a company shows you debris and claims that your liner is broken and you need a new liner system, get a second opinion. Beware of attempts to frighten, pressure or intimidate you, Farrell said. By law, any contract you sign to do work on your chimney must have a three-day right to cancel, so a worker who inspects your chimney and repairs it the same day is breaking the law, Farrell said. Protect yourself and your valuable home from scofflaws who may be after your hard earned money. The Commissioner urged consumers to verify registration and check for complaints on any home improvement contractor they wish to hire. Please be aware of a potential scam by Mr Juan Ventura.

Fake Report: #932743

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Mon, September 10, 2012

The person who posted this is just a person trying to defame me and my company. I haven't ripped off anybody in Marietta, GA, due to the fact that you didn't pay for any services, because if I did repairs to your air conditioning you did not pay me, their home warranty paid for any services provided. To make it clear, all my work comes from a Home Warranty that consumers buy. That means the homeowner would only pay a deductible ranging from $ 45- $ 100 dollars. The rest the home warranty company would pay for. Second the report you mention is about work in Connecticut, why was New York mentioned. This person is not even a true customer at all, 4 times sounds like big exaggeration to me. Just somebody trying to hate on other peoples success in life. I know who posted this, and I would just say get a life, don't you have anything better to do. Maybe that's why you hating because I'm doing better than you and you can't get ahead in life. If it is true a person that I charged 4 times over, then why haven't I received a BBB complaint yet. Because also as a consumer the first thing I would do if a company did what you stated, that would be my first contact, in order to complain about services of a company. So this person is a fake. Prove it with a copy of an invoice of my company if you are real. I bet you can't , phony ad.
