I was reviewing my bank account on line, this is something I just started doing because things have turned so financial bad, and I need to keep track of every penny.

On January 16th I saw a debit from VScapesCT for 109.95 with a phone number. After calling the number I found out this is the 5th time they took money from my checking account. How did they get my information? I don't even shop there!! I was told I signed up online, I told them to prove it, I didn't sign up for anything like this I don't even know what it is. They told me they could credit 109.95 in 2-3 business days, but not the past years. I said they are steeling from me, right from my checking account. We all need to keep a closer eye on our credit card and checking accounts. I was told I would get a refund in 2-3 days. We will see... I'm out a total of 519.79 not including interest.

I called both VSescapes (Victoria's Secret Escapes) and the 1-800 for Victoria's Secret catalog. Both phone operators were very used to customers calling in to complain- and I did get my $ back for this year- but - same as you, I hadn't noticed the charges the previous years.
The Operator at Victoria's Secret told me that lots of people had been calling in asking/complaining for an explanation on the charge- you must have done an online order about 4 years ago. There was a box you had to UNcheck if you didn't want to "join" VSescapes.

Absurd. I never recvd any paperwork over the years telling me of my membership or of any travel deals. Doesn't seem like any Travel Service that I have ever heard of.
Like you, I am out about $300.
Hope our notes help someone out there get there money back.
