I applied for an Authorize.net payment gateway and I got an email from Laurie Ballard through an authorize.net email address. She never revealed that she is actually working for a sales partner called cybersource.

I cancelled my registration in 2 days because the gayteway was not working in our technical environment. Authorize.net assured me there will be no payments deducted since I never used the product but advised me to contact Laurie ballard who was from the sales company to ensure they dont charge me.

This was the first time I got to know that she was not a part of authorize.net. Anyways so I contacted this lady and she said since there has been no transaction on the gateway I would never be charged.

Few days after they took money out of my account without informing me through ACH. Since that day I have sent over 20 emails, made 200 calls on her cellphone and over 20 times in the customer care department of cybersource.

Everytime I call they tell me she is not in office and neither is any other sales representative and the customer care reps cant do anything about it. They promise everytime that someone will call back but of course that never happens.

So its not just 1 person in the company. They are organised fraud practitioners where the whole organization is trained and prepared to deasl with callers asking for refund of unauthorized money taken from there accounts.

I wanted to let you know I have closed your gateway account.  You will need to contact the sales representative you worked with to setup this account to inquire about a refund for your setup fee.  I have also sent a refund request for your gateway fees and will notify you of the outcome when I receive a response.
