 Ad Aware will not start on my system. It does start in browser but I cannot scan my computer for viruses nor check settings. I called customer service/sales who put me through to customer support, who offered to "fix" my computer (he told me that I have infections/viruses) for $220.00 per year.

 I told him this was a preposterous idea that I should pay $220.00 to start and run a $50.00 program.
 Other than download and run program, there are NO further instructions.

 Please note that I am a certified Dell technician as well as Qualxserv and unisys and used to tell my customers about your product and until today, swore by it. What shall I tell them now? What would you tell your customers if the shoe were on the other foot?

 I have been an avid Ad Aware user since 2004.
