Do not, I repeat do not listen to any of the things this woman or her office tells you.I was referred to her by a friend of mine who told me Aishah will do anythhing to win the case.At first I thought that was a good thing until I realized by doing anything meant lying and falsifying legal documents.I was in the middle of a custody case with my ex boyfriend. We have 2 children together and I was looking forward to moving to San Antonio for a job offer I recieved. Mrs McCoy told me that she understood everything that I was going through and that she could help me out.

I paid the retainer and started the process with her. After paying the money she started asking me about abuse that my ex did to me or might have done to our children.I didn't know where this was coming from because there has never been any abuse by my ex, we just fell apart after 9 years of being together. I told her there was none of that and I just wanted him to be in our childrens lives and I had no problem driving half way so he can have his weekends. She kept insisting that this was a sure way to get what I want.

She had me contact CPS and file a report against him. CPS went and interviewed him at his home and inspected everything based on the report that Aishah had me make. Not knowing I went along with it, unfortunatley I know now that once in the system you're in for good. She didn't care because this was going to look good for me in court. She even went as far as wanting me to file a police report against him.

That's when I decided enough was enough. I tried to get my retainer fee back but couldn't because she stated it covered the work she did.I told her that's fine, I'll go another route to try to get this case taken care of.I did find another attorney who helped me out and we were able to come up with a solution to where we both are active and able to stay in our childrens lives.I'm in San Antonio and our kids see their father 3 weekends a month and longer during summer and breaks.

Stay away from Aishah McCoy and her law firm. She doesn't care about ripping a child our of a parents life. Someone needs to tell her that it takes 2 to make a child and it takes 2 to raise them. It's a shame that there are attorneys like her in this world
