Another number to try ..you should always question the scruples of someone who hands you a Bible with one hand and takes your money with the other.

No attorney by that name is listed by a comprehensive service as practicing anywhere in the United States.
I came across this number that you may want to try if you can't get ahold of him via the original number. I don't know where this will get you, but WhoIs lists this number as affiliated with christiandebt.net, the domain that Mr. McDevitt apparently uses to send massive amounts of spam. Here's the number: 954-296-6822.
A couple bits of general advice:
1) Stay away from debt counselling services. The vast majority of the people who use these services will end up in worse shape credit-wise than had they declared bankruptcy. There are other avenues to debt relief that work out far better for the consumer. These companies are often highly unscrupulous and, in many cases, never use your money to pay off your creditors.
Don't be fooled by non-profit status either. The profit status of a company says nothing about its value to the consumer or its ethics.
2) I would strongly advise staying away from any organization with the word "christian" in the name that promises help conditioned upon large payments. This advice holds especially true for debt counsellors.
I'm not at all trying to say that christians are bad people, quite the opposite. The reality, however, is that alot of scam outfits recognize that people will see the word "christian" and think that the outfit is trustworthy. There is no license required to act as though you are a man of God, and you should always question the scruples of someone who hands you a Bible with one hand and takes your money with the other. Especially when you found them via a spam email.
Good luck!
