Law Offices Of Brian D Lerner Dishonest Attorney to Say the Least Long Beach California
I went to Mr Lerner with hopes of him working on my case. I spoke to him briefly via the internet and asked him to take my case on after asking him his fees. I paid the total amount and was then sent a contract which had many hidden fees that he failed to mention to me.
I then proceeded to email him my concerns and told him I do not feel comfortable and will like for him to call me before signing his contract.
I never received a call so 2 days later I called and ask to be refunded. I was told by his assistant that I will have to wait until monday so I called back on monday only to get the same response "Mr Lerner is not available and you will have to call back later".
I called back that day and she was not available so I called back on Tues. Again the same response so I decided that I would keep calling until I got on to someone.
It was not until I explained that I was not hanging up that I finally heard from someone who asked me to send an email stating that I wish to have a full refund which i did.
Later that day Mr Lerner emailed me stating that he did alot of work on my case and will not be refunding me the full amount but will be taking $3000 for the work he did.
I took this to my bank as it is illegal to have any work started until a contract was read and signed and therefore my bank ruled in my favor so I was refunded in full
My Lerner out of spite took me to a collecting agency for the full $4275 when he said i owed him $3000 to begin with. This man is a theif
This is just proof that he will do anything to get a buck. First he claimed I owed him $3000 now its the Full amount I initially paid him.
After I told him I was contacting my bank about his dishonesty he threatened me with the little facts he knew about my case.
DO NOT HIRE THIS LAWYER he does not care about your well being.

Dear All:
The client who posted this false report is angry. She has sought to defame me through these accusations and now a lawsuit is being prepared against her for her defamation and libel. It is interesting that she does not state her true immigration status or the fact that she is at risk of being deported. It is interesting that she does not post the rough draft of what was prepared on her behalf to try to stop the deportation prior to her withdrawing her case. It is unfortunate that many times what gives lawyers bad names are angry clients who distort the truth.
However, since there is a forum to handle clients who make these false accusations, it will be used. I had given her the chance to revoke her false accusations and she did not. Now, I will proceed in a Court of Law for defamation and libel.
If any potential clients have read her statements, please call me so I can properly defend myself and not hide behind a wall of lies where there is no recourse for the truth.
