Complaint Review: Law Offices of Dean P Sperling

Law Offices of Dean P Sperling Dean Sperling, Dean P Sperling Legal Malpractice, Dishonest, Incompetence, Flaked, Failure to Appear, Irresponsible Irvine California

This attorney is a real flake. He and his firm were paid to collect money from Michael Denny at American Wine Distributors Inc in San Francisco. All Dean Sperling needed to do is show up and get the default judgement.

He failed to show up for the court hearing, was sanctioned by the court and then proceeded to blame his partner collection company, Tucker Albin and Associates. Dean Sperling filed a motion to withdraw as counsel and left us, his client, hanging rather than taking responsibility for his failure to appear and finishing the job he was paid to do.

Sperling Caught in Misunderstanding with Dissolving Law Firm

#2UPDATE Employee

Thu, September 22, 2016

Dean Sperling Law would like to respond to this report. In August of 2011, Sperling merged his practice with another firm. Under the arrangement, Sperling was to handle all California appearances. In Feb of 2013, the other firm was dissolving and requested that Sperling assist with appearances to close out matters. One of these was this case for Tudor Wines v. American Wine Distributors.

Tudor Wines was a client of the dissolved law firm and thus all calendaring, filings and contact was to be performed by them including this case. This did not happen.

Sperling was not advised to appear at any hearings and The Court vacated the sanction order against Sperling due to the miscommunication of the dissolving law firm. Dean Sperling is AV rated and has a Preeminent Status rating by Martingale-Hubbell only given to lawyers with no client complaints.

The situation described in this Ripoff Report was a direct result of what can happen when a law firm dissolves and unfortunately their client was adversely affected. But this in no way should reflect poorly on Dean Sperling as verified by The Court in this matter. For more info on Sperling Law, visit www.sperlinglaw.com
