Law Offices of Wes Cowell ripoff consumer rip-off fraud totally incompetent Chicago Illinois
The divorce lawyer was MY lawyer and he ripped me off. He is totally incompetent and bills $200/hr. He bills you for things he never did. I have documented solid evidence of this. When confronted with the billing discrepacy he immediately dropps you as a client then sues you for the fees.
If you are getting a divorce, STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY. He will tell you what you want to hear when you are considering hiring him. He'll tell you that he will personnaly work on your case. Then he usually turns it over to some dumbass flunky that works for him.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY LIKE I DID!!

There are pending cases against the Law Offices of Wes Cowell PC.
The ARDC filed a complaint on their own accord
In re Wes Cowell, 03CH0022. Their recommendation was suspension for one year.
There is also a civil case pending (very interesting) that may or may help others.....check it out .....01 M1 157122

I reported him to the ARDC in Springfield & the situation was resolved. He is also listed on the CLR(Citizens for Legal Responsibility) website as a bad attorney. He tried to rip me off for over $2000. & is a very sneeky, & low man. I escaped from being another one of his captives for under $200. Stay away from him!!!!

I had a similar situation in New Jersey. I filed an ethics complaint with the NJ Bar association. I won and the dirtbag lawyer, Oh sorry that's redundant, did not get the money she was trying to steal from me.
