I rented an apartment in march 15 2012 I have hpd section 8 and I am disable with a 2 year old daughter I signed a two year lease to find out its illegal 5 months later. How cruel and unfair is that I also paid a two month security deposit. I just reserved a 30 day notice from my landlord. I have no problem leaving but she not trying to give me no money.,how wrong is that you break your lease by renting an illegal apartment .
