First there is a 1-800 number but it was only on my bank statement, and of little use. I contacted them via the phone, and was assured that the fee of $99.95 would be returned. That was 6 mos ago, and I had till this date contacted them each and every month.

They do not answer email, the phone operators always have to contact the corporate office. (probably a RV in the back yard). The big catch is they say they have to talk to you, from the front office, and that will never happen.

Again another cyber crook, and yes reported to the FTC and BBB, that will go on stealing money for service not rindered. It is in California, so that does say a lot, and like many companies based there of little use.

Money refunded, After posting on this site

This update is simply to state, I recieved my refund from Lawstar. At first I could not talk to anyone able to make that kind of decision. After posting on this site, I was able to finally get in touch, with Bernadete at Lawstar, and was refunded the full amount, that was with drawn from my account.

After coming across this report a full investigation into Mr. Wallaces account was made in order to fully understand the situation. Mr. Wallace signed up for our service in July 2002. We have no record of him ever contacting our company to cancel our services. Furthermore, going through the websites history it shows activity on his membership account.

However, as a policy of the company we have a 100% money back guarantee. If any customer is not fully satisfied with the services we will give them a full refund. Now that the situation has been brought to our attention, we have issued a full refund to Mr. Wallace on June 6, 2003. We extend our apologies for any inconvenience this has caused him.
