Lazarus Financial Group Rachuel rude and unethical collection pratices Dallas, Texas
I contacted Lazarus Financial Group about two invoices that appeared on my credit report that I wanted more information about. After first speaking with a representative I was put on with the so-called supervisor, who was rude from the opening of her mouth, and tried to secure a payment in full of $1309.19, for medical bills that were paid by my state medicaid and insurance company. Ubenounced to me, the company that contracted Lazarus Financial Grp has since gone out of business, a sub-contracted company of LabCorp, and is trying to collect bill balances from paid accounts no matter if the patients had insurance or not, which is against the law. I then began contacting my state agencies of Medicaid and Insurance company about the issues on my credit and they both informed me that these matters were taken care of at the time of billing for services rendered, also that this company can not bill me for any amounts what-so-ever! After being hung up on numerous times by the same employees(Rachuel, and Jennifer) I contacted my primary care physician about the matter, and I was told that I am not the only patient dealing with this issue. Luckily I did speak to a male employee at the Lazarus Group that gave me the account numbers on the invoices/bills/proof of debt that the group refuses to provide; I in turn relayed the account numbers to my physicians office and they contacted the group to speak on my behalf. (1/3/12)
I was informed by Rachuel that this matter will remain on my credit and continue to hold me back from purchasing anything, and she will note it as a refusual to pay and hung up on me once again. That does not sound like professional and adult behavior, and very unethical business practices.(1/4/12)
To Clinical Laboratory Management the company who is attempting to unlawfully collect bill balances from paid accounts; you will never receive a penny from me or any other account for that matter, because I know my rights and am not one to just lay down and be bullied by some little non factor business that is no longer in existence.

update on Lazarus Financial Group
#2Author of original report
Thu, January 10, 2013
Since filing my intial report, I have taken direct action against Lazarus Financial Group. I called every day numerous times a day to get in contact with Jason Stiles, my so-called case manager to get the necessary information forwarded to my primary care physicians office to get the issue handled, and I was given the run-around. Everytime I called, Jason was not in... hmmm... I find that hard to believe, but whatever. I recorded our conversations everytime I called for my records, and have since written a letter to their company informing them of my rights, and that it is illegal for them to report to my credit reporting agencies of this issue if they refuse to provide proof of debt! I have also reported them on my facebook page and the company's facebook page, about their tactics and unlawful and unethical business practices. I continued to call daily numerous times with no answer, knowing that they are able to see who is calling, I found it hilarious that they are ignoring my phone calls. I will continue to call and update this issue until it is resolved, and Lazarus Financial Group takes reponsibility for their actions.
I will not be a victim of fraud, and you have picked the wrong woman to mess with and try to scam. I advise every consumer to know and understand your rights as citzens and consumers, and take action when you know something is unlawful and unethical, it will save you a lot of headache.
