Complaint Review: Le Shoppe-Daniel Bensimon And Nuhad Karaki

My former employers, Daniel Bensimon and Nuhad Karaki of Jouvence Aveda/ Le Shoppe, have withheld $905.33 gross from my pay and refuse to give it back and will not respond to any of my emails and refuse to give me an answer in person when confronted. I am writing you because this is not the first time these men (The owner being Daniel and his CEO being Nuhad) have done such a thing.

They withhold from employee paychecks and threaten that employees work for them for at least 90 days or they lose their money. I could not work there for that long and I subsequently "lost" my withholding. I am not only a veteran but also a student and a loss like that to me is tremendous.

These men not only violate labor laws but also use their power as owners to bully any one who questions their actions or motives. I am appalled that in the state of Virginia, anyone can run a business such as this one.
