I originally started with Leaders in August 2007 with specific rates and no monthy charge or security fees. In Feb. 2007 I wanted to change my company name. At same time I received a mailer from them in the mail that stated they had rates as low as 1.18%. I was told that I needed to sign a new agreement. I asked them for that rate for the special rate. I was told that that rate was for new customers only. I mentioned that if I was having to sign a new contract and would not have a penalty from the old previous contract then why wouldn't I be able to get the new rate. I also mentioned to Ryan at Leaders that I had some of their competitors offering me a great rate. We agreeded on some specifie rates. However when I got the new agreement, not only did it not have the better rates as promised, Leaders had actually increased the rates and added the monthly and security fees and other charges that weren't on the originaly ageement. I again called Ryan and he instructed me to cross out and write in the rates that were promised and then sign the contract. I did just that, however, once I started getting the bill, I was still getting charged the higher rates and for a couple of months, I have been working with Marvin Davis, who never follows up on the situation nor does he ever call me back. Today, I was told there was nothing they could do but charge me the higher rates. I was told that they never offered a 1.18%, however it is the current rates still listed on their website at info@leadersmerchantservices.com. At this point I would like to be out of their fraudulant contract and let me go with a legitimate company that will not bait and switch and misslead it customers.

LEADERS has offered to adjust this merchants rates we are waiting to hear from him.

Leaders Merchant Services LLC would like to apologize to this merchant for any misunderstandings he may have had with our company. We would also like to apologize if our employees did not return his calls in a timely manner. The policy at LEADERS is that any of our representatives can help our merchants so that they do not have to wait for a particular employee to call them back. Leaders Merchant Services is very confused by this merchant's statements that we did not offer him the rate of 1.18 that he was asking for. The representative Marvin Davis that the merchant refers to went over the rates the merchant currently had in detail on 6/12/08 and explained why the rate plan he was on was a better deal for him than the plan that has the qual rate of 1.18. At that time the merchant agreed to keep the rate plan he was on. We spoke with this merchant again on 6/23/08 and he was offered the rate of 1.18 that he asked for but he advised the rep that was helping him that he would get back with them. We are also confused about his comment that he received an application that he had to mark out the rates and write in the ones that had agreed to with his representative but was still charged the higher rates. This merchants rates are set exactly at the rates on his contract. If this merchant would like to change his rates to the ones offered on 6/23/08 he can contact our Consumer Complaint Resolution Specialist Cindy Schwerdtfeger @ 877-538-3377 EXT. 137 and she will be happy to assist him.
