Complaint Review: Leadway Monitoring And Research Services

Thank god for ripoff report
I received a letter in the mail today from leadway monitoring and research services. Inside was a check for $3,968.50. I couldn't believe anyone would send me, a complete stranger $4,000.00

The enclosed letter stated that based on an online survey (I took trying to make money); I had been selected to become a mystery shopper.

It also stated that I was to call Brandie Anderson in Pennsylvania (tracing the number showed it was unlisted and returned the phone company address)

I was told that I would complete a paid training (3hrs) and receive $300.00. Then I would have to spend $150.00 shopping or spending the night at a hotel.

Once all of that was done I would have to wire (western union/ money gram) $3,348.50 to somewhere as yet undisclosed.

While researching the names and addresses in the letter I stumbled across rippoff report and thank god I did.
I intend to follow up with this by notifying the postmaster general, FBI, CIA ASPCA? Who ever, to catch these people picking up their money.
