Complaint Review: leanspa

I ordered the free trial from this company that boasts weightloss. After 1 week I decided it wasn't doing anything. It was a 30 day supply, so I called to cancel today, day 15, because I saw that they charged me $79.99 .  I was told that it was only a 14 day trial and that they $79.99 they charged me  was non-refundable.

Per their return policy, copied right from their website:

"After the 14-Day Trial Period, you may cancel your enrollment by calling our Customer Care Department at 888-839-9990 and informing us that you wish to cancel (or visiting us online at http://tryleanspa.com/page/returns/ and following the prompts on the website to cancel). Your request for cancellation will be processed by the next business day; however, you will be responsible to pay for any Product that already has been shipped to you at the time of your cancellation, whether or not you have received it by that time, and you authorize us to charge your credit card for such shipments. If you are billed $79.99 for our product but return within 30 days you qualify for the full $79.99 refund."

I was told that I they would only give me $45 back even though it clearly states that a full refund would be given.

Their so called customer service people are obnoxious and give the impression that they get these calls all day and think you are stupid.  They threaten to hang up if you, they are rude and very passive aggressive.

They need to be stopped.  They are using deceptive advertising practices.
