I ordered on Nov 5 2009, 4 mopeds  ('Gator' 50cc 2 blue/1 Red /1 yellow) and one 150cc ('Phoenix' in silver with 16 in wheels like in the brochure) on Nov 10 ,I was confirmed by Ben Matthews the salesman (as of jan 2010 he no longer works there), that vehicles were in stock , I Fed-X'd  the money via cashiers check. Was told they would arrive between 1st and 3d of Dec 2009.

After repeated calls to them the vehicles arrived on Dec 21,2009.

What I  recieved wasn't what I ordered. I got 3  mopeds 50cc all blue and with the name 'VIP Future World Champion' emblazoned on them, NOT Gator's and not the right colors and one with body damage. The 150cc Phoenix turned out to be a 'SP 150 " with 12  inch tires (not 16 inch)and in blue color. I took photos and had the delivery driver  of Estes trucking write the VIN #'s on the shippng order.

Todays date is Feb 5 2010 and to this day I have been made numerous promises, been put on endless hold, not given a street address of the company, out right lied to,contacted Greg the "owner" of the company and none of his promises ever happen.

Global/Leap STILL owes me one 150cc 16 inch wheel 'Phoenix' scooter and four 50cc mopeds. They refuse to pick up the ones sent to me.

When I call and identify myself as someone other than who I am , I'm told the EXACT same vehicles I want are waiting in a warehouse in Houston Tx ( which is where the Estes truck driver brought the FIRST ones from).

Tonya is the person who answers the phone,Mel is supposed to be her supervisor/office manager.Greg is supposed to be the owner.

I STILL have a 150 cc scooter that requires insurance and tags that is HARDER to sell because 1) insurance required2)tags required 3)motorcycle licence required 4) has the old fashioned SKINNY poor handling tires)doesn't even look like the ones in the photo he has in his catalog 5)came damaged 6)not made by GATOR -its by some unknown cheaper company HARD OR IMPOSSIBLE  to find parts for.7)now I have to lose MORE money to sell the blue 150cc as I'm not a Dealor and must PAY to get it titled in my name before I can sell it.

ALL IN ALL IT WAS A BAD EXPERIANCE DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE.BEN MATTHEWS IS NO LONGER WITH LEAP. HE WAS A GOOD GUY.I WONDER WHY HE LEFT THEM ? If needed ,I will supply names of other people who have been jerked around by LEAP company. Leap refuses to provide actual office address of their Conyers/Atlanta/Norcross or WHERE-EVER they are located.

Today is OCT 16 2010.

Rebuttal to Gregs first responce:

HERE is the  RIP-OFF-

1-Scooters recieved 3 weeks after promised date only after repeated phone calls and NEVER did Greg or his company return calls untill to 5 January 2010 ,thats when I started to make threats of 'outing ' his company.

2-upon initial complaint to Greg he "graciously" offered a couple of CHEAP helmits as compensation for WRONG scooters.

3-As to Gregs first sentance the ONLY thing about his statementis that I agreed to is stickers name on scooters was not what I ordered-I ordered FOUR GATORS that have the much wider (safer) block pattern wheels (5.10 inches vs the 3.1- Inch narrower) poor handling wheels and tires which were on what he sent me.WRONG wheels,WRONG colors,WRONG name on mopeds.

3- AS to the "up-grade" to the 150cc  in lieu of the missing and final 50cc,he sent the wrong 150cc plain and simple.Harder to sell as this one reqiures tags/insurance/cost more.

4-One of the 50cc was damaged in shipping and Greg has not compensated me for THAT. In fact all the scooters are STILL in the crates and there may be MORE damage or un-seen issues.

5-As of today I have not recieved the 16" wheeled 'PHOENIX' -was supposed to be here last Tuesday-this is Thursday( no big deal ).

Plain and simple - I ordered FOUR 50cc Gators and ONE 150cc

50cc scooters are easier to sell -I was going to keep the 150cc for myself .

Now I have three 50cc scooters that are not as good as the Gators (wheel and color issues),a 150 cc that is going to be hard to sell as it requires tags and I insurance and has the SMALL poor handling wheels. I have probably 12 hours on the the phone of listening to MUZAK and being run around by Greg and his crew.

I dont know what other things MIGHT be wrong with the scooters I got and still have not opened the crates. (I'll open them today)

When calling  Gregs company while disguising my identity ,I was repeatedly told they had the EXACT scooters in stock that I originally ordered and was told they could be delivered in 5 to 7 days ( YEAH RIGHT !!)

I was told they ONLY take bank cashiers checks -interesting thing, when I had my bank trace where the checks were cashed, the actual address of Gregs bank he makes deposits at was rubbed out (Hmmm?).

Gregs company has YET to send me the Manufactures Statement of Origin (MSO) so I can title and sell the scooters.

As to a "REFUND" Greg refers to, he offered a lousy $639.

Wrong colors,WRONG wheel sizes,WRONG 150cc,damaged moped,Greg refused to supply his street address,TIME WASTED .

Final note- DEAL WITH SOMEONE else. These "business" people are just middleperson remarketeers when dont do what they promise!!

If any one wants names of other people Gregs company has jerked around, I have those names.

#5REBUTTAL Owner of company

I have spoken with Redd (A Best Deal) and express to him the Mopeds he received is the correct model that he ordered, just has a different sticker on the unit. ( Redd agreed)

For example when one order a unit from China the manufacture may choose to call the bike whatever name they desire, but the model is still the same. Redd received the exact spec, shape, body style 50cc Moped that he requested. Now I do believe he may have gotten the wrong color on the 50cc Mopeds, but they were not all blue.  As a service to Redd for the error in color, I upgraded his 50cc to a 150cc at no additional price (a price difference of $179.00).

Now as for the 150cc with 16 inch. Mr. Gardner was shipped a 150cc with 13 inch tires and what I did was told Mr. Gardner to keep the 150cc Moped in place of the 50cc Moped at no additional cost and we will still ship him the correct 150cc Moped with 16 inch tires. (Redd agreed)

Redd was made aware that the unit was being ship prior to all of the report filings and was even offered a refund, but he refuse the refund and request that the unit still be shipped.

Simple said: There was a delay in his order. He may have even received the wrong color, but when I spoke to Redd concerning all of these issue he was in total agreement with what was agreed to.

a) Ship him the 150cc with 16 inch tires (Tracking number 08917916636 estes freight)

b) He would keep the 150cc (upgrade in place of the 50cc)

3) Mr. Gardner agreed to keep the color units he received.

All in All Mr. Gardner received more then what he paid for.
