I noticed this morning that Leapfrog Enterprises had charged my account $5.66. I called to find out what the charge was for. They said that the ordered I placed back in January was undercharged, and therefore they are now charging my account for the difference. It is the last day of June!

I never received a call to advise me of this charge. They do have my phone number because that is how they pulled up my account.

When I ordered the Leapster for my daughter for Christmas I also requested and paid for gift wrap. When it arrived not gift wrapped I called them and they refunded that charge. This is how I remember that I was charged correctly because I double-checked the charge at that time to see if they had charged for the gift wrap before I called them.

Now they will be causing me an additional $35 charge from my bank because the funds were not available. When I called them they 'claimed' it was a valid charge.

For the last few years, I have ordered from them every Christmas. Never again! Now I need to change my account and debit card numbers so that they don't charge me again for one of their so-called errors.

I realize that $5.66 is not that much, but when it is unjustified it is ridiculous! How many more people are they doing this to? And how much money are they making now for those charges? Guess someone has to cover the high gas prices and grocery bills for them. Might as well be their customers.

I will never order from them again! 7 months later and not even a courtesy call to advise of an additional charge that they claim is legitimate?
