Lease Finance lawsuit

During Sept of 2011 Salesman Nichols Coari of the Retriever division /NPC co. entered Ide Jewelry store and gave me a pitch about their system for processing credit cards He provided comparative costs vs our most recent Aug and Sept Bank of America system bills that showed significant savings by switching to Retriever. It turned out that the savings came from his misstating the Visa and MC portion as 0.5%. He hid and excluded the interchange charges that bring Visa and MC charges to approximately 2% that actually applied. I was told that they made up the difference by leasing the processing machine. I have never leased anything in my life but did so to get the big processing discount. I asked Nicholas if the lease would end if situations arrived such as my closing the store (due to age). He said no problem, just send the device back. He said the big X on the right side of the lease allowed for return. He never said anything about the lease being non-cancelable. I signed up that day. I do remember that he filled out the form and had me sign it with the top - the non-cancelable wording - covered up and hidden from my view.

He wouldn't let me have copies of the documents I signed. He told me to be sure I canceled my current service by a certain date. He mailed me the forms a couple weeks later after my existing service was canceled. I now saw the non-cancelable term but had no alternative to get credit cards processed so things continued on until I realized the big lie.

When the processing charges arrived for the first month I saw that I had been had. The costs totaled more, rather than less, than my prior system. I was never able to make contact with Nicholas after he left. I had to scramble to get my credit cards processed. I switched my processing system to a processing company in Houston. I then returned the device, which costs $150, to Lease Finance with return receipt dated Jan 9 2012. I was harassed frequently by dozens of calls from Lease Finance in early 2012. I cant believe I allowed all these misrepresentation to put me in this situation. I did try contacting the Chicago Area Better Business but they wouldn't take more claims against the ‘F’ rated Lease Finance, they had over 1000 claims open.

I hope the judge can find against this series of misstatements. If so I request that my costs be reimbursed by Lease Finance. I wonder if I could also be credited with legal costs matching those sought by Mr Ari Madoff.

As a side note the name Lease Finance does not seem to appear on the documents I signed.
