Complaint Review: Lease Finance Group

Lease Finance Group Company is illegally debiting my business bank account for a lease fulfilled and cancelled Chicago Illinois

Our business fulfilled a 48 month lease for credit card machine services from Lease Finance Group. We cancelled the lease as per their instructions, sent back the equipment to them; yet, they still debit our business checking account for lease payments.

We have contacted this company many, many times via telephone, fax and letters; however, they ignore us.
We have put stop payments on our checking account, yet, they increase the amount to be debited and get around the stop payment.

We have contacted the Better Business Bureau in Chicago and Lease Finance Group replied to them stating our lease was "non-cancellable". Our lease states it is "non-cancellable during the term hereof". We fulfilled their terms of 48 months (and then some!).

We cannot stop them from debiting our bank account unless we close the account. We have had this business account for over 17 years. Why should we have to close our long term account for a company illegally taking money out when they were informed (in writing) to cease all debits.

Lease Finance Group will not contact us back. They just send form letters stating our account is "past due".

Since I had no use for the machine (used twice in 6 months)I hand carried it back to the person who sighned me up.I founded where they lived (apartment 3o miles away) Jumped on my motorcycle and left it with a note (were not home)at there apartment door that I had no use for the machine or there expensive credit card service.

I too was harrassed by Lease Finance for over 7 months and Abanco for almost 1 year.It cost me over $400.00 to do $500.00 in VISA sales.First of all you have to close your business account and open a new one. Also get a device that will screen there number so your phone doesn't ring. Next file with your locale state attorney general. I sent a copy I filled out to Lease Finance but never sent a copy to the attorney general LOL. In 2 weeks time Lease Finance sent me a letter that they would drop the charges and 20 calls per day. Abanco finally have stopped sending me threats of legal action and phone calls.
