I was bought out of a business 10 years ago. It recently closed. Started getting calls regarding a c.c.
machine that was leased by the business and was told that I was the "personal guarantor". This lease was paid at $50.90 a month for 14 years before my ex-partner closed the bank account. Really $8,500 for a c.c. machine and I continue to be harassed by a rep. named Jason Mahoney. I have contacted my ex-partners attorney to send back the equipment . This guy Jason is a piece of work and is very abusive on the phone. I will not take a dime out of my pocket to settle this matter. I will go as far as trying to get the machine, if it still exists. $8,500???
