I was contacted by National Card Systems to be able to accept credit cards on my web site. I entered into a contract after checking out NCS with the BBB. No reports had been filed. Part of that contract included a company called Leasecomm. Although it did say this was a non-cancelable contract, I was informed by NCS that it was in fact cancelable.

I was provided with codes to enter into my web site so people could merely enter their credit card numbers and purchase my product. These codes not only never worked but also caused extreme havoc with my web site. Tech support was never any help and did not get the site up and running. The agreement was that Leasecomm would automatically withdraw $49 per month from my checking account but not until the site was up and running. Not true. They started withdrawing the money almost immediately even though the site was not running and they were withdrawing additional amounts besides the $49 per month.

Several other companies whom I was not aware of would also be withdrawing monies from my accounts. When I contacted Leasecomm and NCS to question the withdrawals I was totally ignored and never once got an answer. I started writting letters and still got no response. Therefor to stop them from withdrawing money I put a hold on them with my bank but they merely changed the access number and continued to withdraw. I was forced to close my account. Then I started receiving threatening calls from Leasecomm.

Comments I received during those calls were: 1. We don't care what your problems are with your web site, we just want our money. 2. It's not our problem that your web site does not work, we just want our money. 3. We have won the lawsuit so you need to immediately set up a payment plan of 50% down and balance paid in 3 months. Not true, they hadn't even filed the papers yet. 4. We will file a lawsuit against you and if you do not appear in person at that hearing, we will win by default. This final statement was sadly true.

After they started the lawsuit I again called the court house and found that they would win if I didn't either show up in person or hire an attorney. Naturally an attorney would cost me far more then the amount I owed them. It's sad that they can sell via internet world wide, not produce the product and still get their money via default and they know it as well. People like these need to be stopped. Since then I checked with BBB in regards to Leasecomm and found reports of similar facts and found an unsatisfactury reports.

I sent a copy of this complaint with the information the should they not rectify this situation within 7 days I would have badbusinessbureau.com include in the 2001 rip-off mailings. I received NO response what so ever from them. I have also since learned of the many, many complaints on Leasecomm and how they win most of their cases by default for no-shows. I found a real long list of this company and others at www.thecomplaintstation.com. Several pages there on Leasecomm alone.
