I met Lee Martin through a long standing friend of mine by the name of Kimberly Taylor who's known Mr. Martin for 20+ years. I was told that Lee Martin worked for the House of Blues Chicago and Live Nation and has his own catering company by the name of Red Velvet Catering. Ms. Taylor and I signed a contract with Lee Martin to have an event for 9.17.16. Mr. Martin would secure the sponsors and the venue. The event never happend and I have been going back and forth with Mr. Martin to return my deposit. Which was only refundable if Mr. Martin cancelled the event which in fact he did. Prior to speaking with Mr. Martin about receiving my deposit back from the event I made 2 other investements with Lee Martin.
One being an investment where if I gave him so much money to purchase liquor for one of his events the money would then double on my return. This money has also never been returned. In addition to that I purchased 3 Beyonce tickets from him for the St. Louis Show. Up until 9.10.16 I had repeatedly asked Mr. Martin for my purchased tickets he kept saying they were coming. Then he said he sold them, then he said they were at will call. Then he sent me a picture of the seats stating he wished I were able to sit in my seats for the show. I also loaned Mr. Martin $250 in which he said were for investment purposes. On 8.31.16 I even had a conference call with Ms. Taylor and Mr. Martin in regards to the investments I have given Mr. Martin. Ms. Taylor let me know a refund repayment agreement would go out to me by Friday September 2, 2016.
I have yet to receive this agreement. Mr. Martin has repeadetly told me I will receive my money on this day and that day or I would receive the refund agreement on this day and that day. It's now 9.22.16 and I have no agreement and no returns on funds. In addition to that a relative of mine invested in project with him as well and she cannot get Mr. Martin to respond to any of her requets either he keeps saying he is busy and will get back to her as well. I only made these investments based off trusting my friend at the time Ms. Kimberly Taylor. Please do not do business with him and please seek an attorney he must be stopped and really should be locked up. I was able to win my Judgement against Lee Martin by filing a civil case in court. Lee does not take these cases seriously (as he has other pending civil cases) and when he is summonsed by the court he usually blows them off. He did however show up to court once on June 30 signed a promise to pay me agreement on 8.4 which has the Judges stamp on it. On 8.4 Lee was a no show to court therefore I am still waiting for my money and he is still telling me I will be paid. I have been in/out of court since March. This man is still running schemes. I cannot tell you how many people have come forward in the same situation. Oddly they are mostly women. If you have been taken by this man please file charges with the police department. Criminal charges will be the only thing that will stop this man from continuing to pull these schemes on people. He also has a team of people who will cover for him & continue to support him in his deception. If you have any questions please email me. He's gotten away with this for so long because people haven't bothered or just have given up.

Lee Martin is a con artist, thief and liar. He's MO is the same time after time. He stole $2,500 from me and tried to get more. I received a notification that my name was mentioned in this report regarding Lee Martin and I want to make a clear statement. It is true that I knew Lee Martin as a childhood friend but never knew that he turned out to be a thief. Ms. Jenelle Johnson's report is misleading in regards to myself; however, I want to make it clear that I, Kimberly Taylor, had no involvement with Lee Martin's scam. Ms. Jenelle Johnson's issue is only with Lee Martin. She was not forced & the decision to invest was hers regardless if I knew him or not. The event planned was centered around Ms. Jenelle Johnson's talent not mine. The report forgot to mention that I invested with her because my partnership was with Ms. Jenelle Johnson; however, fact remains that I was never paid back either. Lee Martin has changed to someone I do not recognized. Therefore, I would not recommend anyone doing business with him at all!

I was told by Kim Taylor Lee Martin would be issuing me a refund by a certain date. That has yet to happen. Also shortly after signing the contract for the event I made a couple more investments I never saw a return on and 2 of my family members made investments with him as well. Lee Martin prides himself on being a promoter as well as an investor. He is neither. We have all been told we will receive refunds but that has yet to occur. Please be weary of this person he preys on women especially single mom's. He also has accomplices that help him with his lies and deception.
