I think a class action lawsuit is in order. I moved into a dirty apartment. Food on the counters and floors, roaches everywhere. I was promised by the manager three times that it would be cleaned. Sure enough, it wasn't. When I moved out, it was vacuumed and clean, but was charged an unknown amount for cleaning. I broke the lease legally because of substandard housing. There was a 42 page letter from the city on problems with the 60 units. Some units had one working electrical outlet for a two bedroom apartment.
After moving out with a 30 day notice and Leeds Property Management refusing to let me move, I received a collections notice. I went to the complex and got affidavits from the current tenant and a neighbor as to the move in date. It was three days after I moved out. So they are trying to collect rent twice, which is fraud.
I was lied to by the manager as well as Laura at the office over and over. I have requested a move out invoice and they refuse to send me one, again illegal.

These guys are bad news. I really do despise these people and will gladly go to court. I also have all documentation, as well as the letters from the city. They keep changing emails, but the phone should be good. The current email is from today's craigslist.
