I was contacted by Legacy FMS by phone to repair lighting at one of their customers' locations. I quoted a $1000+ repair. A month later, they approved my work order in writing, and I completed the work at their customer's location.

I submitted all the paperwork correctly and waited the 45+ days to receive payment. After 45 days, I contacted them to ask for an update on the payment. They responded with false accusations of bad work, citing second opinions from unqualified, unlicensed managers and only offered to pay a fraction of the agreed amount, which I refused. This is how they do business.

I attempted to take them to small claims court, but they are out of state and do not have any of the required licenses to do business in my city or state.
