Do not use Legalzoom as it is a huge ripoff. My fiancee and I started an online retail/manufacturing business and needed to be up and running asap. We went all out on the gold package assuming we would use a majority of the information they had. We received our business license etc.. very fast and were happy. We tried to contact them a few times with questions concerning our business and soon realized they were not reliable.

Moving on.. We started receiving threatening letters that if we didnt pay them nearly $200 that they would revoke our good standing with the state as our registered agent as we had already planned on removing them from this. This occurred before the year was up and have received nearly a dozen letters so far.

We went to our accountant and found out we were not in compliance with the state concerning our business and now were scrambling and paying fees to be able to sell products over the internet. Legalzoom is honestly a waste of time, its best you search a question and follow it from there, keep track of any useful information and learn about your business, aside from getting our license from the state quickly it was not worth the $700 we put out in order to use them, could have had everything done ourselves for $200 including our recent fees. DO NOT USE.
