The card in the mail stated that I was entitle to a complimentary cruise package, and time is running out, someone has been trying to contact me.  So I called the number, it was explained that if I made an appt more details would be forthcoming.

The marketer avoided specific questions about hidden costs and fees, claiming that the travel company would like to explain in 90 minutes about their great travel packages, if I wasn't interested I would receive a complimentary cruise just for showing up and listening.  Seems too good to be true... it is.  I called the same marketers number back after this whole thing was over the next day, they denied ever calling me.

COMPLIMENTARY does not mean FREE....

Get them to say yes, yes, yes... my wife and I visited Lagasy Travel... what a joke.  Ed the yes man, did the slide show presentation....  Come on, all those facts and figures are unsubstanciated claims designed to get me to start saying yes, yes, yes.  It's a classic corny sales technique.  Cameron and this other guy tried hard to later sell me several rediculous vacationing packages, I said no way.

90 minutes slipped to 110 minutes as usual, and I insisted I had to go to my next appointment... So the next guy present the complimentary gift.  A handoff package, that they prearranged with Sunrise Travel.

Sunrise Travel sells scam packages to sales people who want to boost their sales by 30% or more.  Car salesmen and the like.  Spend 15 minutes on the internet and search a few of these companies.  They make lofty claims like complimentary vacation packages, which sound free but they are not free at all.  Think about it it guys, it's all about getting you in front of the high pressure sales guy for 90+ minutes.  After Legasy has tried to bleed your hemoraging wallet... they turn things over to Sunrise who will now try to bleed your wallet again.

The cruise for 2 package has so many disclaimers and open ended statements I wanted to gag!  From line item 1 to 16 it is loaded with statements like 'send us $99 non-refundable processing and registration fee', I asked, What for???  to buy a voucher so that they can begin explaining what you get... thats is so funny.  I suppose there are FOOLS out there that would do that.  I stood up and was outraged by the audacity of suggesting we would receive a free gift, but actually they were going to give me another opportunity to buy something from them.  Thanks, but no thanks.  Scam.

Another guy came over to explain that the processing and registration fees were rolled into the port fees and taxes package... which was just a lie, it says on the application form that they are distinctly different.  So he wanted me to sign that I received the gift, I said no... it was the most worthless offer I have ever seen.  He said he would like to have the Sunrise Travel company call me the next day.  They have my number and no one called.

This low budget, bottom of the barrel, crappy cruise, will wind up costing as much or more than any cruise I have ever booked before.  It is loaded with all the heartache, hoops to jump through, no-refundable statements, massive travel restrictions, etc,... hold on to your hard earned money and book a carefree vacation when you want, the way you want... without paying a cent to these bozo's.

If this slight of hand complimentary vacation package is how Legasy Travel presents itself to the customer, I feel horrible for the 200,000 suckers... I mean members that have caved to their high pressure sales.
