LELAND & VISNICK CO. BROKEN DOWN CARS
THIS COMPANY IS A RIP OFF. THEY RIPPED ME OFF BY RENTING ME A CAR THAT WAS NOT SAFE. THEY SAY THEY HAVE OLDER RENTALS FOR PEOPLE WHOM DON'T HAVE FULL INSURANCE COVERAGE. WELL THEIR OLDER RENTALS SHOULDN'T EVEN BE ON THE ROADE. I WAS GIVEN ONE THAT NEEDED A NEW MUFFLER, EXAST SYSTEM, BRAKES, SYSPENTION IS NEED OF A FIX AND THE DRIVERS SEAT WAS BROKEN.
I DON'T THINK A CAR LIKE THAT IS SAFE TO BE DRIVEN LET ALONE BE A RENTAL. THEY WERE VERY RUDE WHEN I WENT TO RETURN IT AND ASKED A BETTER ONE. THEY GAVE ME EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE ABOUT WHY THE PROBLEMS WEREN'T FIXED AND THAT THEY KNEW OF THE PROBLEMS. WELL IF THEY KNEW OF THEM, THEY SHOULDN'T LET THE CAR BEEN RENTED.

I know this report is old,it was made back in 2000. I just found it and would like to set the record straight. First and formost, Leland & Visnick does not rent cars. That is a separate company, MAR Rentals. MAR has older rental cars available for customers of Leland & Visnick at discount price. We specialize in renting to people with no credit cards & drivers under 21 years old. We would not let a car be rented if it was unsafe!
