After one year ownership of a laptop computer purchased from Lenovo, we were called to renew the warranty. There was no information given or ever sent to us either by mail or email regarding what the warranty covered.
After a couple of months the laptop was broken and Lenovo contacted to find out how it would be handled. We found out that the screen was not covered in any way on the warranty. Apparently Lenovo doesn't cover any physical part of the laptop (anything that would actually break). The part of the laptop that resulted in the breakage was poorly constructed and should not have caused a break...it was normal usage.
We just wanted everyone to know that the Warranty that Lenovo offers only covers the internal issues in the laptop, and is virtually worthless after the first few months of usage (you'll know if you have internal problems by then).
It should also be noted that Lenovo was not the least-bit consumer-friendly when it came to getting the laptop fixed (we chose another option).
The were non-responsive to the email we sent...no reply whatsoever.

Very dissatisfied with the "Warranty" and the service.
