A cheery rep(Amy)called me with a credit card offer. I asked for the company name. She stated a Freedom Resource Company had pre-approved me for Mastercard. Told me all she needed was my bank info. for a one time fee withdrawal from my account. She said in 10 days I'd get by UPS my benefits package acct.information. After I gave her my information she told me somone would be contacting me with futher information about the account.

I waited. No one called. No benefits package ever arrived. I called more than 30x but could not get through as the lines were always busy. When I did get through the rep had no account information under my name. When I ask questions the rep became evasive putting me on hold for long spells only to say when she returned that I would receive my benefits package in 15-21 days.

When I asked to speak to a supervisor, things got shady as if she were conferring with someone nearby. I was told, No. That my questions had already been answered. I asked for her name and she told me Annie. I asked Annie, Do you have a last name", to which she responded "We are not allowed to give out our last names. I, angry, smelling a scam told her I wanted my money back. She put me on hold again without a warning. When she came back to the phone she repeated my benefits package would come in 15-21 days and then she hung up the phone.

Its past twenty-one days, I haven't received my benefits package or my money back but this matter ain't over yet as I'm just getting started.

What you need to do is go to your bank on Tuesday morning and fill out an Automatic Clearing House (ACH) dispute. Tell your bank that you did not authorize any withdraw from your account (even If you did, most banks will have it clearly noted on the dispute form that unauthorized means they did not have your signature to withdraw any money. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!!! as most banks will only allow you to dispute an ACH for 30-60 days after the withdraw. that is the only way that you will get your money back!!!

After you have done that go and file a complaint with the federal trade commision for decptive business practices www.ftc.gov
